Activating water and sewer services is easy. Drop by City Hall between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday - Thursday, and fill out the necessary paperwork. If there is a problem with a prior bill, such as an outstanding balance, please be prepared to bring your previous account current before services can be re-established. The City sends out several hundred bills each month, so if you have a question please give us a call. Bills will include water and sewer charges,
based upon usage.
The Council has established that any account not paid by the 25th of each month shall be subject to disconnection on the 26th. Office staff are not authorized to grant payment extensions beyond the 25th.
(15-103 b-3) Customers shall have the right to a hearing before a designated hearing officer (15-103 b-4). A request for hearing must be submitted in writing to the City Clerk no later than three (3) days prior to termination of service (23rd of each month) (15-103 c).
Upon receipt of such request, the City Clerk shall notify the customer of the date, time, and location of the hearing, which shall be scheduled within three (3) working days.
Any service disconnected due to nonpayment shall be restored only upon full payment of the delinquent bill, any applicable interest penalties, a re-connection fee of $25, and a trip charge of $20 (15-215).

Drop by City Hall to get your permit and license plate. Be sure to bring your proof of insurance.
All permits run from January 1-December 31.
